Mismatch in Net amounts (Payslip and Bank statement)

Post by vennk0 » Mon Jul 12, 2010 10:24 pm

Hi Leaders,

I am planning to apply for Tier - 1 and one for one the months income

1. In Payslip Net amount is shown as 1234.56
2. But in Bank Statement it is shown as 1234.57

Just 0.01 difference. Its a mistake by employer.

Will this be a reason for HO to reject my application.

Please advise.

Ohhh. Then even one of my payslip net amount differs with Bank statement by 35 Rs/-. But i over looked, and submitted my application on July 7th, without mentioning in cover letter. Then i have to wait and see my luck..

Hi Shepherd,

Can I mention that one of my payslip amount differs by 0.01 Pence to Bank statements.

If I do so, do I need to get a letter from my employer because it might not be possible for me to get a letter now as I have appointment in this week.

Please advise. Would be happy if I can get reply soon so that I will have some time to prepare.

Thank you Shepherd.

Mention the discrepancy in your cover letter and it will suffice. However, you may choose to get an additional letter from your employer as well, time permitting.

Not a problem. I got my Visa, eventhough one of my payslip and Bankstatement net amounts are difference by 35/-.
