confusion on application status, pls help :-(

Hi,

I applied for T1 from Bangalore last week. My timelines are as below -

Application submitted at VFS, Bangalore - 05 July '10
Application forwarded to BHC - 05 July '10
Application under process - NEVER HAPPENED
Processed application dispatched via Blue Dart - 13 July '10

The status directly changed from "App forwarded" to "Processed app dispatched". I've been checking at least thrice daily so there's no chance I missed the processing part.

I know that I'll anyways get to know tomorrow. But still, anyone have any idea what might have happened?

Don't worry mate it happens some times. But hopefully you will receive your stamped passport by tomorrow. Keep us posted.

Yeah I applied alone. Keeping my fingers crossed, will update once I get my passport back.

This is the normal procedure. VFS forwards the applications to BHC the same day and you would get your status as "Forwarded" (though it is being read by the caseworker). i.e. in short the work of VFS is done and work of BHC is underway, which would not be reflected in the status. Once the application result is sent back to VFS, VFS couriers it back to the applicant.

There is no status called "Under Process with BHC". Hence no need to worry.

There is a status called "Application under process at BHC" however, this status is not mandatory to happen for everyone as there can some updation glitches which might be the case for OP....However, all the luck for muhandis.ak and im sure things will turn out ok..
