I am new please help with maintanance funds letter.

Dear all, I am new here! It seems like a great forum with a lot of useful info, I wish I would have found it earlier.
Would someone be kind enough to check if this letter from the bank confirming the Maintenance Funds is correct, if not I would have to rush to get a new one. If the money held in the account is in $ would i have to ask them to write the converted amount there? they didn't. This is the letter:

Date: 07.07.2010
This is to certify that XXXXXX has a current account at our Bank (branch name and address). We herby confirm that there was a total of 4500 USD in the account XXXX from 02.04.2010 till the 07.07.2010. There has not been any movement in cash on this account from 02.04.2010 till the 07.07.2010. Bank statement from 01.04.2010 till 07.07.2010 is attached.

And one more question concerning the converting of the salary into GBP. If i get paid on 25th so i look for the exchange rate on the 30th? what do they mean by the LAST DAY of the earnings? :S

Many many thanx in advance

1) The format looks ok and it is ok even if you have not converted USD into GBP..the BHC guys can do that.

2) Last day will be the date upto which you have claimed your earning period for..this might be or might not be the date you were last paid ..in your case if the last date of your claiming period is 30th then the exchange rate will be considered as on 30th...good luck!!

One more question sorry. Do we need to convert the total gross salary to GBP on the last day of the 12 month period.
Or convert salary of every month and show the total ?

135. If, during the period for which we are considering the applicant’s previous earnings, he/she has earned money from outside the United Kingdom, he/she can include these in the calculation to score points for earnings. The applicant should provide details of the overseas earnings, in the original currency in which they were paid. The applicant should convert these earnings into pounds sterling by using the closing exchange rate on the OANDA website for the last day of the period for which he/she has claimed earnings in that currency.

Thank you very much!
Now its clear. I was confused because some people did it for every month on the other website.
