tier one - questions on previous visa rejections

Post by kpc1981 » Thu Jul 22, 2010 4:29 am

Hello,

I have few questions on my previous visas:

1. I had extended my stay at USA during my B1 visit. Should i attach the extension request and approval letters also?
2. During my USA visit on B1, my company had given me a UK transit visa as my B1 visa had expired on my way back. Should i mention that i had UK transit visa as my USA visa was expiring and i needed UK transit visa as i will be transit'ing at UK?
3. And next time when i went to stamp B1 again, it got rejected. For the reason i am saying that - "I was not able to convince consulate officer that i would return back home after my stay at USA" and will be attaching the note given my consulate to me during visa rejection(note also contains the same). Will this be fine?

Thanks in advance.

- Why are you providing this information ? Is it asked anywhere or mentioned in the policy guidelines to provide information about visit to other countries and proof of the same ?
2. During my USA visit on B1, my company had given me a UK transit visa as my B1 visa had expired on my way back. Should i mention that i had UK transit visa as my USA visa was expiring and i needed UK transit visa as i will be transit'ing at UK?
Yes, you should mention this here,

6.4 Have you been granted a visa for the UK in the last 10
years?

3. And next time when i went to stamp B1 again, it got rejected. For the reason i am saying that - "I was not able to convince consulate officer that i would return back home after my stay at USA" and will be attaching the note given my consulate to me during visa rejection(note also contains the same). Yes, you should mention this, here,

6.3 Have you ever been refused a visa for any country
including the UK?

and yes, submitting the reason for rejection evidence provided by the US consulate is good.
