Can healthcare benefits be included as earnings for Tier 1?

Post by IwantTier1 » Fri Jul 23, 2010 7:35 am

Can we count healthcare benefits as part of earnings? They are not included in my pay but are a non-cash benefit per my contract.

While they aren't included in my pay stub, they are clearly outlined in the pay history my employer printed up for me. I do, however, pay no tax myself on these benefits.

I guess not. Unless it is shown on your payslip and unless it is taxable, it may not be considered.
