Tier 1 general dependent proof of communicatio

Hello I m on tier 1 general and I need to apply for my wife as my dependent
it's the requirement to show documents that we are in communication
and know each other
my friends advice me to use phone bills and post cards which send to each other now if I need to know how can I use phone bills because I call to my country using calling cards, pls also advice what other documents I can attach
