How to apply for NI number from India

Hi everyone,

I am traveling to UK for first time on Tier1(general) visa. I already have a job offer from UK. I want to know How can I apply for National insurance number living in India.

N I number, you can get it only once you land in UK.


When you arrive in the UK, to apply for an NI number yourself you will need to make an appointment for an Evidence of Identity (EOI) Interview at your local Job Centre Plus.
