Salary Breakup in India for Points calculation

Hi,

This is for friend of mine who interested to go for Tier1. Do we need to consider the CTC or Take home for point calculation in india.? Say the total cost of company is 10 lacs, however this include Variable Bonus, Food
Coupons etc.etc. and finally the amount credit into bank may not match with the 10 lacs.

How we need to take the salary for the point calculation.? Hope this post looks clear.

Ask your friend to read the policy guidance *carefully*.

Tier 1 (General) assessment is not based on CTC or take home salary, but gross earnings. What may or may not be considered as gross earnings is clearly explained in the policy guidance.
