sent a letter to book biometrics?

we got sent a letter for my spouse to get his biometrics done, does this mean the application will be most likely accepted, or is this just standard procdure where they get everyone done, wether accpeted or not?

Standard procedure. Request for biometrics is not an indication of application being granted (or refused).
