british passport

i got my ILR on 23rd march2010 but i have some doubts for my son..as he has stayed outside uk for more than 450 days in last 5 years..he came to uk on march2010 and than we applied for ILR. When can he apply for british passport.Would he be eligible with me in dec

how old is your son? you say you will be eligible in Dec? how is that so seeing you got ILR in March 2010? was it backdated ILR (HSMP JR)

My son is three and half years old.He was born in India and than he came here for some time than went back and than came back in march 2010.I mean i was qualified to get ILR in dec 2009 bt i applied in march 2010 as he was going to come than..

He may register under section 3(1) when a parent applies for naturalisation.

Did you get a letter from the UKBA 'backdating' your ILR
