Two questions regarding my visa

Dear Experts,

Firstly my Tier 1 visa expires in 2012 but I need to replace my passport soon to a new one at my high commission as the old one is expiring soon. Do I have to tell home office or just send it for replacement. But there won't be replacement visa on my new passport, what should I do?


Secondly I was on 3 year work permit before I applied for Tier 1 (another 3 years), so can I apply for ILR when I have 3 years WP + 2 years Tier 1 ?

2. Yes, you can apply for ILR with 3 yr WP + 2 yr Tier 1 (if the rules do not change by the time you complete the 5 yrs)
