What will happen if I leave UK after the expiry of my PSW

Post by bagula_bhagat » Sat Aug 07, 2010 2:22 pm

Hi,

Can anyone tell me what will happend if I leave UK after the expiry of my PSW visa?

My visa expires in October 2010 and am unable to apply for Tier-1 as I can't score enough points.

What will happen at the airport if I book my ticket for 1 month after my visa has expired?

Will they put any stamp on my passport?

If you depart the UK more than 28 days after the expiry of your leave, then you may be banned from the UK for one year under 320(7B).

Thanks Vinny,

Does anyone know if UKBA will be taking bio-metric details at the airport?

Thanks

Don't assume that if biometrics are not taken at a UK port or if passport is not seen/scanned then UKBA cannot become aware of your departure (date). e.g. - your passport will be stamped on arrival at any airport in India. UKBA has access to passenger manifesto(s) of all flights arriving / departing from the UK (e-Borders).
