Previous earnings - salaried emp + contracts

HI Guys,
I am planning to apply for HSMP, but m not able to score required points for my previous earnings. Can i claim earnings from multiple sources for the same time duration? e.g if i get 1000 from salary and 500 from contracts such as free lancing for the same period of time, then can i claim for total 1500? IF yes, are there any legal complications involved in the same?

Your guidance is much needed.

yes - as long as the earnings fall in a consecutive 12 month within a 15 month period prior to your application.

one more doubt....does UKBA verifiy with my employer1, if i am working as individual contractor with some other company? because if i am permanent employee of employer1, then it prevents me to work in any form with other company..
because if UKBA verifies, then employer1 can fire me..
