Urgent help - visa refusal

Post by skasavar » Wed Aug 11, 2010 10:59 am

Hi,

my visa rejected.

reason - my statements not matching my salary slips from feb2010 - jul 2010 ( since i claimed from aug2009 - jul2010).

actually i sent 2 sets of statemtents,
1 set: aug2009 - jan2010
2 set: feb2010 - jul2010

somehow 2nd set has been missed in the original application, i really dont know how its missed.
but i have sent my photocopy of my origianal statement.

can i send my missed statements from feb2010 - jul2010 or
send a fresh statement from aug2009 - jul2010?

do they consider my documents, since they mentioned in the review application " no new documents accepted"

please help

thanks,
ska

When you say missed, do you mean you missed attaching them with your application or that the caseworker missed noticing them in your application and therefore he/she has not considered them in assessment.

If the former, it is your mistake. You will have to reapply (afresh). If the latter, submit AR and explain accordingly.

i gave 2 sets of photocopies and VFO returned 1 copy and also my other original statement also, but i dint notice untill i saw my rejection today.

can i resend my 2nd original set? or complete statement fom aug2009.

will they consider?

i think its my mistake not to check my photocpies again.

can i explain the same in the AR?

I don't think you can do much to overturn the decision in AR. Its the responsibility of applicant to ensure you have submitted all the required documents as per policy guidance.

Sorry mate, but I guess its better if you submit a fresh application with all the statements.

IT acknowledgements should cover your entire earnings period. Your claim period is Aug2009-Jul2010. If you have showed Income from India the financial year runs from April 1 to March 31 which will not cover your entire earnings period.

'Please note that because tax documents are usually produced at the end of a fixed tax period they will not necessarily show the entire period for which the applicant is claiming previous earnings unless they are for the exact period claimed. An applicant should therefore be cautious about using these documents unless he/she is sure they show the exact amount of earnings for which he/she is claiming points.'

sorry again,

i was bit confused with the rejection.

I have given following set of original documents

1) VAF9 and General migrant document.
2) PBS calculator
3) degree marks card
4) Statements from the bank ( Aug2009 - Jul2010)
a. from Aug2009 - jan2010
b. from feb2010 - jul2010 ( since i had more than 30 pages)
5) salary slips
6) IT returns for last 3 years

And i gave 2 sets of photocopy of the same to the vfs.

VFS took only 1 set of photocopy and returned me the other set of the photocopy, which I have with me now(this includes complete 12 month statement)

In my refusal they have mentioned that..

i have authorised payslips from Aug2009 to jul2010, but my bank statements do not reflect salary credits for the period feb2010 - jul2010.
Hence earnings considered for the period aug2009 to jan2010.

Can i go and check with the VFS regarding my missing statement from feb2010 - jul2010 ( since i am confident that i have given all the set and 1 photocopy).

thanks,
skasavar

In one of your posts above you mentioned that the VFS people gave you the original back and you did not check and now you say it is missing altogether. If the VFS people missed it, you may try complaining but, not sure how useful that would be. Give it a try if you think it is worth it. All the best.
