Spend some time in this forum and you will be through, if at all you meet their requirements.
If you dont then simply dont apply and waste money.Wait for opportune time do self assessment and apply.

Thanks for the response, I definitely qualify for HSMP (based of the points I am scoring), also talked to couple of lawyers and they are eager to take on my case. Probably I will file without wasting money on a lawyer.

Some of the steps needed in the HSMP process have been posted in the forum as sticky. Just browse them one by one - you will learn from them and later you'll realise that there is no need to subscribe to these migration kits being sold in the market.

I for one benefitted from the forum.

There is no need to hire a lawyer to apply for HSMP. You can find any information you need on this forum or online using google. The same work you would pay a lawyer to do you can certainly do it yourself. Just give a lot of thought on the presentation of your application, explain any relevant detail and make it as clear as possible. Don't assume the casewoker will understand, think of him as someone who doesn't know anything about you or your field of work.
