Will I be granted entry?

Post by angel32 » Mon Aug 16, 2010 3:12 am

I leave for the UK in 10 days and I'm worrying myself to death here. I'm a U.S. citizen and will be visiting my boyfriend (UK citizen) for 3.5 months. We've been flying back and forth every other month for the past 8 months. The last (and only) time I went to the UK to visit him I was completely honest in saying I was visiting my bf and after a few questions about him (where he worked/lived/occupation) and a request to see my return ticket I was promptly stamped in. This last vacation was only for 12 days though. This time I am armed with a letter from my employer granting a 3.5 month leave of absence, a return ticket, my apartment lease, a letter of sponsorship from my bf, and a certificate of health insurance coverage that covers me while I'm there. Should I be worried I will be refused entry or am I worrying for nothing?

I wouldn't worry if I were you. You have a lot of evidence of strong ties to the us.
