Maintenance Funds

Post by prabhas » Tue Aug 17, 2010 12:03 am

Hi,

I have a question about the maintenance funds.

Can I submit the bank statements of one of the dependents as maintenance funds? Or its better that I become a joint account holder in that?

Thanks,
Prabhas

Main applicant = Sole account in own name or joint account.
Adult dependent = Sole account in own name or sole account in main applicant's name or joint account.
Child dependent = Sole account in own name or sole account in either parents' name or joint account with either parent or joint account of parents.

In any case Main applicant, Sole Account (as first priority) or a joint account in applicants name is advisable. In the case of dependent, Joint account with main applicable is advisable.
