hsmp refusal

Post by pravs2004 » Wed Dec 21, 2005 11:21 am

Hi All ,

i hv posted my hsmp file on may 2005 . i hv claimed

5 - for age ( under 28 age )
25 - 2 years above graduate level experience
25 - master degree education from india - naric certified
25 - income more then 27k in one year - uk

total 80 points.

all documents submitted were 100 % genuine. no intention of any fraud. got my first refusal on october ' 05 stating my previous employer ( back home in india ) experience not varified. try to get details of it from my previous employer , got the idea that mumbai high commission contact HR lady out ther n she put them on hold on phone to get a proper answer , by the mean time she comes on phone they cut the phone and decided my details are not been varified. I hv really work hard in india and got real good relation with my previous employer and thats why they are read y to support in any means.

after all this i hv done appeal , having faith in mind that they will contact and this time they will know the fact. but again got a refusal - couple of days before stating the same that my previous employer's experience is not been varified. contact again - back home emplyoer weather anyone been contacted this time., answer was no. means this time they jst made a quick decision without inquiring.

now in all this circumstances , my whm visas got expired and i hv already filed for flr - ied form to stay me legal in this country. i dont what to do now. if any one could advice me on the same.

i want to know weather i can apply for my paid appeal with new documents ( include my previous employer's ceo letter or any other docs. recon ) from staying in UK or i hv to go back home and have to apply.?

also want to know weather i can apply one more unpaid appeal by statying in uk ?

wants u r wishes and feedback.

thanks.

As your HSMP application has been rejected, your FLR(IED) application will naturally be rejected and you will have to leave the UK within 28 days.

I doubt you will get much joy in getting the refusal on the first application overturned and I would suggest lodging a new application with proper documentation to support the points claimed. If successful, you will ahve to apply for EC from India.

can you post the exact wording from your refusal letter ?
so that others can learn what they ar upto ?

you may hide the nitty gritty or finer details but if possible as close to what is in the letter if you can post...

Unfortunately , the british high commission in mumbai have been unable to verify the documents provided by the xyz company in this case , and we cannot therfore be satisfied that ..i ..meents the requirements of the hsmp arrangements. for this reason we have been unable to apporve the application.

This is bad, then they should refund the money.

if you cannot verify it is HO's fault or BHC is at fault.

Why should somebody be losing money if BHC cannot do their job properly ?
If the docs are false/fake they should say so...

this leaves the applicant nowhere...

Can you provide a mobile number of your superiors and email addresses?
That might help... In my case all my employers were contacted via email by the local british embassy.

I guess it`s not a good idea to provide phone numbers from the company's front desk, because the receptionist may get lost when trying to transfer the call or even transfer it to the wrong department, and from all I`ve read here, it seems that caseworkers are not very patient....
it`s better to provide direct contacts, like your boss's phone number, email address and mobile.

Best wishes,
Lu.

Hi,
I agree with lbfrancois 100%. your reference letter should contain the direct landline contact number and alternate number like mobile etc of the manager who is signing the ref. letter.so that BHC can contact the mgr itself. such small things in HSMP appln makes lot of difference.

HSMP Team need to verify that the person still works for the organisation...after all they could have left several years before hand and still hold the contacts on a business card from their former employers ....this is not uncommon in some countries. Likewise today there is not much you can fail to do with a laser printer. Accordingly HSMP/BHC will contact corporate contact tel usually reception/ front desk and ask for VP, Director etc. The relevant person's e-mail and direct line telephone number are appropriate....an up to date organogram as published e.g. on company brochure also verifies the existence and position of the person in the hierarchy.
