Gross Salary OR net salary as Income??

Hello,

My apologies if this has been covered in the forum..

Do i mention Gross salary OR Net salary as income ???( My net is 30 % less than Gross as i pay 30 % as Income tax)

state your gross income.

just to add you have to show proper proof that gross is that much....

just show form 16 for the year 2005
no other way to get points in salary. If form already deposited to income tax people show SARAL.
In case ur income shown in SARAL is high ( 7500 pounds + )then fine

In addition to the advise already given, best way to make sure you get the points you deserve is to submit as much proper and complete
evidence as possible for each category you are claiming points for

If you are claiming points for salary then try to submit as many of the following
- Salary slips
- tax returns
- bank statements showing debits
- letter from employer stating your income
- Any bonus or salary hike letters you received in the last 12 months
