we got the biometric card, does that mean application accept

WE RECIEVED his biometric card today, valid until 2012 etc, but it says that a decision letter will be sent seperatly. whats that mean> SURELY if hes got the card, then his application accepted, we applied with the FLR(m) form.

so this is confusing, why would they send a card if application not accepted.

Biometric card is the visa! You wouldn't have received it if the application wasn't accepted (approved).
