Exact wordings are;
The reason for this decision are detailed below.

You supplied with an accountant letter, business bank statements and letter,
invoice, HM Revenue SA 250 letter and certificate of public and products liability insurance as self employed evidence, we accessed the evidence supplied but were not able to award points for self employment as we cannot accept the public and products liability insurance certificate as this is not one of the extra pieces of evidence we require under 142 of published guidance.

date submission 14-07-10
refusal letter received 19-08-10

my psw is still valid till 1st oct 2010

Where did you get this insurance and how much you have paid for it ?

are you sure this is employability insurance not some thing else?

have you spoken to the insurance company?

In Paragraph 142: You need minimum 2 documents?

can you tell me what documents you have submitted.

If you have submitted UTR letter from HM REV and NI PAYE Contribution. So you dont need to provide Insurance certificate?

please explain

1) i submitted UTR letter as a proof registered with HM REV

2) Bussiness bank statements with the business letter from the bank

still if they don't accept insurance documents i have sbmitted the two required documents.

if you give me your email i will send you my insurance dcuments as well

could you please advise me what are the necessary documents from sec 142,
i am having UTR letter
NI contributions,
employee liability insurance...
apart from this what else i need to provide ..?
am going to apply in soon

NI Contribution letter, when you registered your self as SE,
you will a HM REV NI payment letter which you have to pay, this letter normally for 4 month period if you are registered as a self employed you should have this one.
