visit visa to UK

I live in USA on H1B. I want to apply for visitor visa to UK.

I have a valid 1797 but the stamping on the passport got expired.

Can I still for visa? Is there anyone who applied visit visa to UK from USA?

Valid 1979? Are you saying entry on airport.

I have a valid I797 but the H1B visa stamping on my passport has expired.

Can this be a issue while applying for visit visa to UK?

can someone please provide me answer for my question?

Want to apply for UK visit visa but stamping on passport got expired, although I have valid H1B work permit till 2012.

Based on this, i am wondering can i apply for UK visit visa?
