PIO card for infant with British Passport

Post by moron » Fri Aug 27, 2010 2:21 pm

Hi,

My wife and I both have Indian passports. Our (recently) born baby has a British passport .

I was considering applying for a PIO card for her and was unsure of the documents I require (as there are many options on the PIO form).

Q1: Are these documents good enough:

1) British passport of daughter (applicant)
2) Indian Passports of both parents (me and my wife)
3) Birth certificate of my daughter with the name of the parents (applicant)

Q2: Can someone also share recent experience and time lines for this process?

Q3: What is the deal with thumb prints, do I have to thumb print my 1 month old ? :)

Thanks in advance.
