Letter from main client

Post by Yogibear » Tue Sep 07, 2010 10:13 am

Dear Members and moderators,

I will apply for tier 1 general very shortly. I am both salaried employee and generating self employment income in the UK.

I have a main client with is a college where I received money for self employment as lecturer, course coordinator and receiving commission for referring students to the college.

The director is happy to provide a headed paper letter to state the money they have paid for my services from the last 12 months..but the guidance does not mention anything as such from clients only for employer paying PAYE.

I would be grateful if you could advice whether such letter from the main client will be a plus for my application or will it be irrelevant.

Register your self as a self employed.

Read Guidance note page 22 - 25, section 142.

once you register HMREV will send the PAYE letter which you can pay easily.
