Urgent Help required for past earning points for Tier 1 (G)

Post by y095_visa » Thu Sep 09, 2010 7:16 pm

Hi Experts
I have a question regarding the Attribute Previous earnings for Tier 1 general visa,
I have a fixed salary in an IT firm and I have all the desied salary slip and letter from bank to gain 25 points,
but apart from that I have some secondary earning of around 5 month from Freelance projects for which I am Paid in Cash,My contractor is ready to give me on there company letter head that I was paid that amount, but I dont have a bank statement for that
and the visa guidlines says I have to submit atleast 2 proff for the earning.

If I don't show this my secondary earning I am failing to qualify with 5 Point less since recently number of points required for a Tier 1 (General) applicant has been increased from 95 to 100.... :(
Please suggest me what shall I do....... :?: :?: :?: :?:
Your help is really required and will be highly appreciated

regards

Unless you can show a second proof for your freelance earnings - I think there is nothing much that you can do.

UKBA is very strict with Freelance job ... they check if you paid tax, call client, etc ... almost all the time
Trust me .. many people are doing this to meet earning point.

Any chance you deposited the cash payments into bank?

Since the payments for secondary earnings are made to you in cash its not possible to claimpoints for the same coz it cannot be proved from your bank statement.
I suggest take up couple of more freelancing assignments and then accept the payments in cheque. You might need to wait for some time but it would be worth waiting.
