But I would need the funds in a couple of days. What is the actual procedure that the High commission will follow. I mean, the bank letter that I have provided them has already been verified by my agent.

Please let me know as this is going to be really tough for me.

it is absolute risk to withdraw the funds before u are issued a visa because you never know when the high commission carry out its random checks to verify the balance the authenticity of your statements. it gives an impression that the funds were only procured for visa. High commission does not go by your agents verification report. it has its own means of verifying things.
