yes, you will need to get all docs translated. I had to do the same thing. i think its best to have a certified translator do it. Also get them to write and stamp a letter stating that they can be contacted if the HO has any questions about it.

One of my friends who has Tier 1 visa told me that he translated all the necessary documents by himself..
Is it true ? Can i translate them by myself ?

i dont think its a good idea. For obvious reasons, the HO would be a bit skeptical about you personally translating docs. especially with your degree and pay slips- these are the fundamental components of your applications. dont risk it!

Page 4 of the PBS Guidance Notes states:
16. Where a document is not in English or Welsh, the original must be accompanied by a fully certified translation by a professional translator. This translation must include details of the translator’s credentials and confirmation that it is an accurate translation of the original document. It must also be dated and include the original signature of the translator.

You must have it translated. It must be dated, signed and verified by a translator.
