12 month Earning period Defination

Post by waseemjee » Sat Sep 18, 2010 9:49 pm

Can some one explain me, HOW to define your 12 month earning period ?

1- Do you have to count your 12 month period when you start working (you first day of work) ?

Or

1-Do you start to count you 12 month period when you fisrt received the pay ?

and

What date we need to count. One on pay slip or the one which show you income going into you bank (In my case there is five day differecne between payslip date and moneytransfer into you bank account)

Period for which you get paid.

For example If you work between 1March to 31March, the Pay slip has a date of 30th March and the amount is credited on 3rd April the earning period will start from 1 March.

As already explained by Push in the above post, the actual period of work is the period which you have to claim. In your case it is 13 OF NOV 2009 TO 26 OF NOV 2009 and your friend 1 nov 2009 to 31 nov 2009.

Mates,

The period to claim for earnings is the actual month or time during which yor worked and not when the salary or payment was made. So you need to count the dates of earnings from the day you started working not not worry about when the payment was made.
