I have made an application to HO on 9th sept for nationality. I was expecting HO to take out the appl. fee from my credit card last week. They didn't. Therefore I rang my credit card company ask them about it and came to know they have declined the transaction last Wednesday because it was a big amount and normally I don't spend that much and also the transaction was processed manually. The bank apologised about it, however, in order to put the transaction through HO needs to again process the transaction. They can't do anything to rectify the problem at their end.
Now I am going to ring HO Monday morning. Would Ho listen to me and process the transaction again? or they would return the application?
Please advice what should I do?
