Does home inspection report is essential for dependent visa?

Dear ALL,
I m middle of applying (Tier-1) dependent visa for my husband. Does local Concuil home inspection report essential for that?
Or what kind of evidences I should show for accommodation?

If you are living in shared accommodation then yes otherwise no.

I believe tenancy agreement and an inventory report should be enough.
