online registration for in-person application

Hello,
I am on Tier-1(general) visa and my 6 months old baby is born in UK and now I am planning to apply a Tier-1 dependent visa for him as we are planning to visit India after a month. I am going to apply in-person so need to register online first for the online appointment. During registration process(https://ukbabooking.homeoffice.gov.uk/ukba/index.start), it's asking me first name,last name, dob etc but I am just wondering do I need to fill applicant's name(my 6 months old baby who is not accompanying me while application submission) or my name as a father who is attending the appointment?

I presume I need to put my name (as I am attending the appointment) and add my baby's name as a family member as he is the main applicant. Any comments please?

The parent is not the applicant, the infant is. If the registration process asks for applicant details then you cannot enter your own (parent). If the registration process asks for details of who is attending the appointment, enter details of the person representing the infant.

Also, check with UKBA if an infant can be represented by the parent when the only application being submitted (in-person) is for the infant. Or if such application (for an infant) must be submitted by post.
