Days outside the UK and ILR

Hi guys,

Is there a rule for how many days you're allowed to spend outside the UK when in a probation period before applying for ILR?

Not applying for it for a couple of years but when we got the FLR(M) visa last week the officer checking our application mentioned it would be good for my girlfriends boss to write her a letter to include with the ILR application when we do it explaining that her job requires her to travel to other countries every few months.

Just curious more than anything...

No there is no specific limit when making a SET(M) application. However it needs to be clear that the person is settled in the UK, and not just using their spouse visa like some glorified visitor visa.
