Stamp 4 expiring in 3 days time,,still waiting

I have temporary stamp 4 for 6month after applying for EU 1 and it will be expiring on Tuesday. I am confuse don't know what to do. Do i quit my job if i don't hear from them or continue working

Continue working until your employers ask for proof of a valid stamp.

You have every right to work and the temporary stamp is just evidence of that right.

Also, send a letter to the DOJ immediately, reminding them of the 6 month rule. If they pass the 6 months, send another reminder letter. And if they still don't respond within 7 days, threaten court proceedings and remind them they lost a case this year regarding the 6 month rule.

hi john, i heard u didnt get ur letter. i m in same problem. my 6 month has expired last 23/09/2010. then i sent to letter them 27/09 but i didnt get any ans yet.now i wondering should i go to solisitor or not? thanks

Hi Sapon, my friend got his respond on Monday. The letter was sent the day is 6month expired

yes my friend got Eufam approval letter on moday. I am yet to get mine,but i hope to get it next week hopefully.

It's very rare for the INIS to go beyond the 6 months time limit. This is a statutory time limit and must be complied with. If they are beyond this, write to them by registered post and point out their error, giving them a week to respond.

If no response, another registered letter threatening high court proceedings should do the trick. If not get a solicitor on it ASAP...
