Poor Legal Advice

Post by t070576 » Wed Oct 06, 2010 11:28 am

The solicitor organisation that represented the applicant for several student exentions unfortunately mislead him based on "PSW not being valid leave for 10 year long residency category". Although the applicant has not got any evidence for the first instance of inaccurate verbal advice back in 2008, they confirmed their position in writing and email this year when the applicant was trying to apply for PSW.

Their false advice has cost the applicant very much in terms of lost income, possible career prospects, personal stress and tuition fees for further student extentions plus of course application fees.

Based on your experience, is it possible to make them stop falsely advising future clients and make any claim for the losses? Because at present they must have still advising clients inaccurately.

Many thanks
