Help Please on PSW application

Hi there

Could you please advise on the following question

As I am making application for PSW for myself and dependent , Will UKBA accept manual passport as my dependent can not renew her passport as Machine Readable Passport for some reasons.

UKBA doesn't have not have a problem (partner has non-MR passport and has been granted various visas by UKBA) but do take into account the fact that some countries that you may wish to travel to require that visa applicants possess MR passports.

With MRPs becoming the norm, you may have problem in the long run (if not now).
