Spelling in Marriage Certificate

Post by sasti_a » Mon Oct 25, 2010 7:51 am

Hi,
I am planning to apply for Tier 1 in Nov. I am married. My mother's name has a different spelling(Its got a 'H' additional) in the Marriage certificate compared to my Passport. I tried all my ways to change it on the Certificate but of no use. Also, my marital status is single in my passport yet. Will this create any problem? Pls advise. Thanks in advance.

Thanks,
Sasti

No it shouldn't as long as your and your spouse's names are spelled correctly in the marriage certificate.

Read for other posts on the forum for the documents required for subsiting proof of marriage.
