Spouse naturalisation.

Post by Simpson246 » Tue Nov 02, 2010 6:50 am

Dear Members,
Thanks for your earlier input, I have now (Oct 2010) successfully got my ILR for wife and kid on WP 5 years basis.
Will be applying for my son's registration soon as he was born here.
The question now is regarding my wife,
We've been married since Feb 07, wife joined me in UK in May 07 and has been here since.
For naturalisation, I believe she can apply as soon as I get my citizenship in a years time, but to cut costs, can we apply together after she completes 5 years in the uk? i.e 8 months later?

Thanks,
Simpson.

Indeed yes.

Again yes, but whether there is a saving remains to be seen ..... given the way the fees keep going up and up. Impossible to say but it might up up being cheaper applying separately, rather than delaying for a further 8 months.
