Earning from a foreign employer

Post by rackspace » Thu Nov 04, 2010 9:54 am

I am working in Pakistan as an engineer.
And I am also working remotely as a freelance engineer for a Qatar Based company, who has no physical presence in Pakistan.

But I get paid in local curency (PKR) from both the employers.

I wanted to know that will income generated from the Qatar Based company will be considered to be gerneated from Pakistan or not?

Following is the referance quote from the UKBA site:
The country in which you have been working, rather than your nationality, determines the income bands against which we will assess the earnings.

Living in Pakistan, working in Pakistan and getting paid (income "generated") in Pakistan.

It wasn't a question or a statement, but the answer to your query - in context of the statement your have quoted from the policy guidance.
