Query related to Earnings

Post by Hmmm... » Tue Nov 09, 2010 2:56 pm

Hi

I used the PBS Calculator to access my eligibility. The query I've is around "Earnings". I work with an Indian IT company. I get my Indian salary in INR (Indian bank account) and montly allowance in GBP (UK account).

1
So when calculating the points for earnings, can I use the "5.3" factor or I've to use the basic conversion alone.

2
Also, the amount reflecting on my P60 and on CoS and what I actually get in bank is different. (P60 shows 31000 GBP, CoS says 40000 and I get some 2000 GBP on montly basis net). In that case, what should be considered as gross earnings in UK

I did not find these queries in sticky. But if someone has already answered, please point me to the answer.

1. No you cannot use the uplift ratio when physically in UK.
2. Check your payslip for your gross salary.
