Tier 1 Dependent visa

Hi,

I have tier 1 General visa which is valid till Oct 2011,By end of this month I am going to UK as I go the job offer from the company.

I wanted to apply for my wife's dependent visa. I have below queries

1. What all documents are required inorder to apply for her visa.
2. Till which date my wife will get the visa - Till my visa end date which is Oct 2011. If this is the case in that case will I have to apply for my wife's dependent visa when I will apply for my extension visa.
3. Can my wife work as well as study on dependent visa.
