Can Tier-1 Dependent travel to UK before Primary Applicant

Can Tier-1 Dependent travel to UK before Primary Applicant

Hi Experts,
I just wanted to confirm if the Tier-1 Dependent can travel to UK even before Primary Applicant. In my case I am the primary applicant and I did not travel to UK on my Tier-1 visa till now. My wife is planning to go to UK before me (on Tier-1 Dependent Visa). Is it possible by any chance that she can enter to UK without me and I will join her lateron ?

The purpose of the dependant visa application is either for your wife to join you in the UK or travel with you to the UK.

What you mention now is contrary to this. I don't think it is possible.
Most likely your wife will be asked for the reason for coming to the UK when she arrives.The response should be inline with the purpose mentioned above.

I stand to be corrected by seniors in the forum.
