Assignment considered for HSMP Extension

Hi Team,

My name is Suresh and I got my Tier 1 visa for 2 years. My company is sending me to UK over an assignment for which salary will be paid in the GBP.

Does Immigration Department consider this for my extension and grant me extension post 2 years assuming I meet all the other requirements?

Yes, the period in the UK on secondment can be used to apply for extension. But whether or not you will be granted extension will depend on whether you qualify for it at the time.
