The Tier 1 (General) route will be closed from April 2011

Hi,
I am a Tier1 General migrant.
Please find the latest updates about Tier1 General rule in the following link:-
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... ual-limits
It does not say what will happen to existing Tier1 General Migrants. Will the existing Tier1 General Migrants be able to apply for their extension after April 2011?
The news looks dangerous for me due to the fact that they clearly spoke about existing Tier2 migrant, but did not speak about existing Tier1 migrants.
Does this mean that no more Tier1 is allowed after April 2011 regardless of initial application or extension?
Anybody has any clear or more idea regarding this?
Please advice.
Thanks very much!

UK BA has burned their fingers badly twice bringing retrospective changes. I dont think they will try that a third time after spending millions in public money figting two Judicial Reviews.

The rules when you applied for your visa and entered UK will be the rules against which you will be governed and those rules will be applicable for ILR or anything else...

Thanks for your update.
Regarding your mentioning about Judicial Reviews, is there any legal things happening at the moment about the new rules?
Thanks.

There can't be anything for what we don't know as yet....just wait and see and hope for the best!
