ILR - a stupid Q

Post by jonbon » Mon Feb 06, 2006 5:33 pm

Hi Everyone,

Have a stupid Q on ILR...When I get the letter from employer about continued employment, do i need to:

1) Get it signed by my Line Manager or Department Head?
2) Is a signature enough or do i need it rubber stamped?

Many thanks for info.

Regards

Jon.

IMHO it should be sufficient either way. However just to rule out any doubts at the time of ILR I suggest you get it signed by the department head and rubber stamped if you can.

Other than these, you could always get your HR to print you a letter on the company letterhead and sign it with contact details of the HR person.

Rubber stamp is not important as long as it's company letter head and has the contact details of the person who signs the letter. (IMHO)
