Backlog of 2004? Still not processed???

Just read on hsmp website this:

We are also working through a backlog of older cases as quickly as possible. The oldest applications now being processed were made in the week commencing 12 July 2004.

hard to believe and afraid to ask: is here still anybody of summer 2004 application? remember that was a hard time for the guys to get processed.. some of you are still not reviewed?

Some of the webpages havent been updated for a very long time. The operational service levels for example had last been published in May 2005 when I last looked. That could be the reason why they still refer to some cases in 2004. I very much doubt if they have held on to an applicants documents for that long.
