Maintenance funds for dependants

Congrates!! And Happy to know that you got the visa.

I saw that you got approval for 2 dependents too. Can you please let me know how much your fund maintenance and how many you had kept?

After i get my visa (hopping so) i need to apply for dependents too and i have 2 dependents. From past 3 months i'm maintaining around 3.75lacs.

I applied on 10 nov and from then on till today, the VFS site said 'your application has been forwarded to BHC'. TOday morning it has changed to 'despatched via blue dart'. So i might receive the passport today or tomorrow.
Learning --> don't get panicked by status not changed on VFS site. IF you have applied before last week of Nov, application has been processed and they were just waiting for dec quota to be released. Some have got visas on dec1, some on dec 2 etc. So it looks obvious that BHC takes a few days to clear of back log from Nov.
VFS might not get live updates from BHC due to backlog of applications.

For each dependant you need to 1600 GBP.
Therefore, approx it should be 71*3200 = 227200 for dependants

Plus, you have to show maintainance fund for yourself also i.e. 2800 GBP
which is 71*2800=198800.

So, the total comes to 426000.

I tried to maintain much buffer i.e for rate 80. i,e 480000.

I have one more question. If i get a tier 1 general visa, i can go from the existing company in india to UK. So since i do not have fund for one of my dependent, can i get the dependent visa from my employer for one of dependent?
is this possible?
Please let me know.
