need help please!

Post by mizzforeigner » Mon Dec 06, 2010 12:54 pm

Hi, I'm new here and I hope somebody can help me.

I've applied for Tier 1 post study permit but I just received a letter saying that my application was rejected.
There are two reasons why it was rejected,
1 - not enough maintenance fund on the day of application
2- applied a week after student visa expired

I would like to make new application.
1 - I've sorted out my funds now so I got enough funds in my account

The problem now is the expired student visa. Can I submit fresh application if my student visa has expired now? I did leave the country before my visa expired but I did not put that in my first application form. Do I still have a chance to get visa if I submit a new application and put together evidence like flight ticket saying that I've left the country and came back?

Please help!

You have to do a fresh application from your back home country.

as long as you have not overstayed, you should be fine.

make sure you have 2800 pounds, or whatever, to show in your account to satisfy requirements
