Share your concerns about the new proposals affecting intern

Post by pegazb » Wed Jan 12, 2011 4:42 pm

Migrants Rights Network is gathering inputs about the way the government's new proposals on the rules affecting international students could negatively affect foreign students - whether those on language and below degree-level courses or students at degree level.

Go to their website for more information on how to get in touch with them.

MRN Submission to UKBA consultation on students

Post by pegazb » Thu Feb 10, 2011 10:01 am

MRN has published it's response to the consultation. They argue that the The UKBA international student consultation has whipped up a storm of responses. UKBA has reported that around 30,000 responses were submitted to the controversial consultation – reflecting a high level of concern about measures that would substantially reduce the ability of foreign students to enter and remain in the UK in the future.
