How much to show?
Main migrant outside the UK (yet to enter UK to live & work there) = 2800 for self + 1600 for each dependent.
Main migrant in the UK for less than 12 months = 800 for self + 1600 for each dependent.
Main migrant in the UK since more than 12 months = 800 for self + 533 of each dependent.


can u please confirm this to me. i am in uk for more than 3 years now but my tier 1 was stamped on 26 mar 2010 .. does that mean i have to be in uk on tier 1 for more than 12 months and then i satisfy the 3rd condition ??? because in that case i have to show atleast 2400 if thats true ? otherwise 800 for self and 533 for dependant

I think you are eligible for third condition as you are living for more than 12 months. But make sure you get more opinion.

Since you already have Tier 1, you do not need to show maintenance for yourselves.

I believe for dependent you only need to show 533. The guidance does not say that you have to be in UK for more than 12 months and all of the 12 months on TIer 1 only.

Yes, as long as statement clearly shows your name and required balance has been maintained.
