Tier 1 Background check

Hi,

My wife and I plan to submit our applications for tier 1 in Feb 2011. i just have 1 concern...

7 years ago I was arrested for driving over a stop street, while returning from my visiting parents guest house, sober and on a Sunday night!

I would like to find out if this event can cause my application to be rejected ?
(I have never had any problems because of this in South Africa..)

It shouldnt as long as you were cleared without any conviction. Though it is recommended to mention this and produce appropriate docs in original
